  PEOPLE CANT PRACTICE THE VENUE FOR WINTER LEAGUE SEMI
  
  WE FISHED IT LAST WEEK AND BROKE THE ICE!!! because it froze overnight and people travelled up from a far? and was already there?
  
  so what will happen if it freezes over the day before the semi?
  march is unlikely but you never know??

  Well we have got a 7hr 400mile round trip to fish this, we were going to come down this weekend but FThat if it`s not going to be on~think. Wonder if we get a chance to practice with the way the weather is ~think. ~think

  I do the web site for Neil and I have only just returned home and had chance to update it
  
  I spoke to Neil earlier today
  The match tomorrow (13th Feb)is cancelled due to ice
  
  The League match on Sunday, Neil will make a decision early tomorrow
  So anglers fishing the league will have to ring Neil tomorow
  
  Neil has a policy of no ice breaking
  The only reason he allowed it last weekend was because of it suddenly freezing during the night
  He wasn’t able to contact everyone in time to let them know it was off, so with people travelling good distances he decided to allow it to be broke
  
  Shalla it is a joke. You should let the league organisers know it is rediculess that with the semi being so early, the only time for practice is in the worst month of the year for freezing conditions 😉

  Looks like its gona be off again this weekend if the forecast is right.
  
  I contacted the organisers this week to ask what the backup plan was and to think about an alternative date…..no reply back as yet.
  
  Fancy pickin a venue that doesnt allow ice breakin in the freezin months of the year.
  
  No wonder they cant get people into team fishing with blunders like this.
  
  No practice and a semi that might not go ahead due to the ice……oh well we can all sit in the pub and draw for a place on the weedy Nene….whooo.

  Dont think its Neil Shalla, i know he as offered to change the dates to May and given the 2 weekends prior for practising.
  
  Down to the A/T and the organisers to sort it out… wish we had gone on the Stainy now!!
