The above number is the EA reporting line, I would suggest its a good number to have in your mobile if you see anything that should be reported to them.

        It’s got to be worthwhile.

Thanks John I believe it is the number printed on your rod license. I have had reportable incidents and eventually they provided me with a direct mobile number for the enforcement officer for that area.

I got a report about some long lines in South Lincs this morning, as far as I know it had not been reported, it has now !!!

Not everbody carries their license with them , big majority will have their mobile with them though.

John the numbers been in my phone for a couple of years now, i stored it after i made a call to them to rescue some fish when a local pond that i use to scrape for bloodworm from that was being drained to be de-silted. There was loads of stranded fish, the EA turned up within 30 minutes of the call and removed all the fish.

Its been in mine for years as well Chris, doing it as a reminder, or hint hint.

Anglers need anglers that are prepared to make a call, so many complain after they could have done something to help in the first place.
