MOLANDS Another very cold week saw a downturn in sport with most anglers struggling for bites in the very clear water. The best area has been from pegs 10 – 19 where skimmers to 2lb, roach and a few F1’s have been caught fishing the waggler with maggot or caster.

GEARYS Despite the cold, anglers have found skimmers and roach and the odd big carp been willing to feed. The high bank from 6 – 15 has been the best area with a small ground bait feeder and dead red maggot the most consistent tactic and pole fished caster or pellet also catching a few.

LITTLE GEARYS Definitely the best pool through the week with F1’s to 1lb, skimmers, roach and a few bigger carp showing. Best pegs have been 9 – 15 and 26 – 29. The top tactic has been to fish a 4 or 6mm expander over a small pot of micro pellets with red maggot and caster good back up baits.

ANNIVERSARIES Skimmers, roach and brown goldfish are being caught on the pole fished pellet, caster or pinkies. The lawn area has been fishing best out into the open water.

WILLOW Willow has been better this week with F1’s, skimmers and roach coming to pole fished pellet or caster. The reed bed pegs 5 and 6 have been the best but fish are being caught all around the pool.
