ive noticed a lot of my local fisheries and i think White Acres also have now allowed the method as long as its inline and running ( i think? )
i totally understand the reason why they dont allow fixed methods or elasticated etc as if you get a break the fish can become tethered etc…
but after fishing a match last weekend i was pegged next to a lad who was fishing this method…
what are the rules about clipping up before the all in when fishing this? i thought you could only cast a bomb (as i did but i was going to fish with a mag feeder) simple for me as i was using a quick release clip so could easy swaw from feeder to bomb in seconds, but he couldnt change his method as it was on his main line…
he clipped up with it which took him around 15 casts…
and also i noticed him “clipping up” again with only 5 mins to go~naughty

just got me thinking what you guys do when fishing this method..do you actually set a bomb up first to clip up the distance and once clipped up then set the method up inline???

Yes, you tie a bomb on, clip up, then cut it off, and tie on the in line method feeder!

            How simple is that?

I am pretty sure at Whiteacres you are allowed to get your distance using a method feeder as oppose to a lead

VERY simple Nigel, but does everybody do it though?

Really it’s down to who ever runs the matches whether your allowed to only cast a bomb to break the water, but to cast 15 times to get the distance, kiss of death at this time of year ~naughty

At whiteacres you are allowed to cast a method feeder for distance i used a bomb and very well known anglers around me used the feeder so i presume it is allowed but i would just double check rules,
