  I have been watching the points system on this site! And I may come across stupid in asking this, but Im just wondering how it works.
  
  Do you get more points for posting a good fishing question, and the more replys you get bump up your points. And how does the minus points come about! Is that people being rowdy and swearing on this site.
  
  Some light cast onto this subject will be welcome thankyou…..

  Delbert…..Yes “looks” does come into it mate,as you can see by my point total.However most of the points earned are given for your fishing ability.You have sat next to me mate on many occassions,so you know how much i deserve mine…lol.

  Rad…..I assume you mean bttt mate?…..Which stands for Back To The Top……This is used by posters to bring the topic back to the attention of veiwers.
  Many of the good posters use it to remind forthcoming matches etc. to the anglers on the site.

  I think you get plus points for every post and you lose points if you delete a post (hence how the minus scores come about).
