        whats a good canal groundbait for using in a winter league thats good for introducing joker & attracting roach but will also not put the skimmers off – cheers

          a silverfish mix of your own preference will do.try adding some vde secret if you want a hard or sticky mix.

            but i thought roach liked an active mix whereas skimmers preferred a fishmeal base

              Have you tried Sensas Canal Noire and Formula supreme 50:50? I don’t fish B&J but its a good allround winter mix.

                most of my b and j fishing is done on the stainy bud.on there a dead mix seems to work better as the joker gives the swim “liveliness” if you like.dont know about fishmeal mate but i know on some commercials ie. barston it works for roach and skimmers.
