        Has anyone actually fished with this oval blank concept rod ? Does it work or is it just good in theory. It’s supposed to have a stiff ‘side’ for casting and when you play fish to the side it’s soft…if you didn’t know.

          A mate has one and I’ve borrowed it twice. Really nice action and very crisp/responsive. Have a play, if it suits you buy one, best advice I can give really.
