Stotz all the way for me but i know most people prefer to use shot for when they are roach fishing. Hopefully someone can explain that ~think

I use ZLT shot for bulking and Stotz for droppers.

I use stotz as i find they don’t ping off like the small shots do///////////////////////////////

That’s why I use ZLT Freddy, they’re super soft!

When I used to use ZLT I would always open a tub before buying as I have encountered some rock hard batches.
Stotz are pretty user friendly for all but the most delicate presentations.

Thanks for the tip Daddy B, I’ll do that in future. Luckily I’ve had no problems with them.

Think stotz are ok for summer fishing, 0.18 lines upwards, but anything below 0.16 i have had problems with, they move! I use 0.10 to 0.14 for my skimmer/F1 fishing this time of year and i find stotz impossible, too much movement, maybe preston need a winter stotz, as i dont think they grip lighter lines.

Stotz for rigs with line above 0.14,shot for lower than 0.14.Much the same as maker they do tend to slip.

never had any trouble with stotz moving & .14 is the strongest line in my box.
used them on .1 for silvers with no problem.
helps a lot if you have total confidence in what you are using.
have a nice one and keep catching.

I always use stotz, but, to be fair, I do not use line lighter than 0.14!

Stotz for me also.

stotzs for me,I find them much better/easy to use move etc.
