TF_shallowmanTop Pool is mostly pellet or corn as there is a lot of small skimmers .
New pool is maggot or pellet at the moment .
Fish to islands , and full depth down the middle.
If it warms up a bit , the margins will start to fish , but not enough fish coming close in yet to make it worth while.
fish light line & elastics and a small hook. use as light a float as you can and shot to a pimple , bites are still bit iffy.

you dont need to fish to long anyway most of the locals fish no more than about 12m.

tournament_proI can manage 12m
is it a typical snake where in winter you feed virtually nothing?

cant tell you how its fishing only fish once a year allways go down for easter withn the lads. 2 years ago easter was early (freezing and snow)and maggot across worked well for me. i would take pellet maggot and corn you can get maggots on site .if pete rice is there or pete caton just ask they will put you right.
going down this easter hoping it warms up a bit (just as an idea mick the owner was saying there are about 250,000 f1’s just in house pool) -

tournament_pro250,000 is a lot of fish, owners do tend to exaggerate a touch but I know it is solid.
al let you know how badly I get on

Anonymoushi mate just finished winter league at tunnel top pool is deffo a pellet water feed micros through a kinder 6-10 bits at a time fish light floats and keep lifting and dropping.new pool we have found it responds to maggot feed pretty much the same as pellet but when you start having a few fish you can feed more than you would pellet on top pool.maggot seems to catch biggrt fish, hope this helps let us know how you get on.

tournament_procheers for the help
came 3rd new 26 41lb
Pete Rice did me off next peg by 12oz doh.
I should have fished pellet more but went with maggot attack.
Still, impressed with the place considering it was sodding freezing loads of people had 30lb plus.
