        I have just started to fish in the opens at my local commercial fishery where some of the matches are being won on the waggler for F1s.

        The majority of the time its means fishing towards islands approx 18 – 25 mtrs away.

        i have been fishing with 0.20 main line with a short 3AAA clear waggler with an 0.12 or .14 hooklength finished off with a size 18 or 20 eyed B911 with a hair rigged banded 6mm pellet.

        what would be your choice?

          set up seems ok just the float id play around with. if your catching them shallow id use a 3or 4 swan pellet wag they still respond to a splash even in this weather if its sunny they will come up! if your catching on the deck 4ft plus id stick with what ur using sound ok to me,
