        I know a few people use Dacron to make up the lenght between short elastic and bungs. But has anyone tried this with pull bungs

          Thought about that AdzT, I dont know about you but are Elastics really that expensive ? I once did 2 topkits with half hydro and half fly backing it felt Awfull your better off with elastic I reckon.

            I agree, i tried half a length of hydro with dacron in a few of my top kits & ended up ripping them out as they felt rubbish. Money wasted in my opinion.

              I’ve tried most elastic combinations and with the exception of fishing for really big carp (Doubles +) I’ve settled on doubled preston slip with pull bungs, best of both worlds IMO.
