feeder your best bet at this time of year if your on some fish chucked just short of half way

Fish have been very tightly shoaled around 20-23 and opposite which is about peg 9-13 ish I think

Your fishing for stockies mainly, dont fish too heavy .12 to an 18 will be fine, micros in feeder

Some of the other pegs will be hard, was talking to some mates who fish it regular on Saturday – blood and joker on the hard pegs will produce 10lb + of roach on hard sections but i reckon you will need at least 50lb of stockies to win

          good luck

the open is on match lake – not west lake which is different stamp of fish altogether
