Up until about 8pm last night it seemed a sensible discussion with no names beng given out so what happened to change it?

I posted yesterday afternoon but was not on last night. If it went West why not just pull the offending posts instead of pulling the lot?
An email to the offending poster would then ensure some sort of training and hopefully an improvement on future threads?
I will think twice about posting again on threads that I deem to be in danger of going West, as without some sort of education for posters thats exactly where they will go.
I think it is important for everyone to recognise how these processes work and what the law says, as sooner or later we are all going to be caught up in this. More than likely in the current climate it will be sooner rather than later!

I am, as anyone will tell you, reluctant to pull posts as longs as views are honestly held and there’s no malice. In this case a slanging match was building from two of the main posters on the thread. I contacted both to tell them that I was pulling the thread this morning because it was becoming destructive and doing no-one any favours. I stand by the decision to do this, rather than leave the thread up. Sometimes it is better to remove individual posts. This was not one of them in my view…

The person who started the post asked for it to be removed…nuff said really~shh
