TF_kwadejGood Morning,
Got a small problem at Heronbook this Saturday.
I could do with four anglers, competent at weighing in to give us a hand.
If you could help out I would be most grateful, drop me a line on [email protected] to discuss.
Cheers

TF_neil gJust goes to show everyone has moans when things go wrong ,but no one will even help out with a simple task of weighing in.
Make them do it Ken first peg on each section or lake comes to mind .!!!! -

AnonymousNormal practice in the past for winter leagues is that peg 1 in each section has a set of scales and does the weigh-in for that section. Peg 2 in that section has the board and checks and records the weights of each angler. I dont understand why this is not happening at Heronbrook.

TF_lloydy1970Do you think the anglers should weigh in when paying £8 a peg.

When your organising a match as big as a semi you should have it organised, and if you want your water to host such matches then it should be some of your responsibility to organise weighers in end of.

Yes mate we did, couldn`t carry 2 blanks,( our 2 youngest lads ) they have took it well and will learn from it!! Good experience for them, plus they will learn how to take the rough with the smooth!!! Congrats to all the teams that went through, especially the sheriff, he ran his little socks off!!!!~clap ~clap

TF_GillboThats a shame for you Martin as I know a few of you put the practice in. I heard a few unpleasant rumours yesterday, seems a few lads are quick to knock your lot. There is always next time though skip!

TF_red_anglerRopa, if its any consalation we drew next to you & came 9th, ( Tedcarter Southport ), we put loads of time in & knew when we looked at our draw we had a massive uphill struggle to get a result, we had 1 good section peg!
By the way im not taking anything away from the 4 teams that qualified, they did brilliant. -

By the way im not taking anything away from the 4 teams that qualified, they did brilliant. We knew when we had drew mate that we were up against it, we had 2 half decent pegs and the rest crap!!! I drew peg 8 on Island, a peg that hasn`t even been going in on opens. We didn`t even think Id get a bite of it, I managed 2 F1`s fishing the limits of my peg as far left I dare go or could go to try and reach the shallow gravel bar.But thats what happens and we`ll be back, like I say you have to take the rough with the smooth and I`m pleased the 5 young lads we fished got more experience.

TF_ropaWe are alright mate, everybody went back out Sunday and fished and caught fish, told them to get it out of there system. It`s the young lads I felt for, but there time will come!! Listen when anglers like Pete Caton can blank and Adam Richards comes last in his section..says it all really!! Was well pleased for the Maver Midlands squad, they put a lot of time and are cracking bunch of lads~clap ~clap
