My friend owns a lake and hes wanting to transfer his fish from one lake to another (he’s filling this one in). Its far too awkward to net it and he’s asked me to ask about this electro netting. Does anyone know where he can hire one from?

        Thanks

Can he not drain it to drop the level right down and then net it? Surely that is not too difficult if he is going to fill in the original lake as I assume that he will need to drain it eventually anyway.

The lake is very deep so draining it to get the fish out is not an option and its surrounded by over hanging trees etc so netting would be a nightmare.

Tried them Nige and they no longer hire them out. Any other places? Cant seem to find anything!

If its very deep electro fishing wont work unless you get some seriously powerful kit and risk to the fish is much greater.

MJ, how is your friend going to fill in the lake without getting the water out? ~think

As margin gnome says, I have also heard that electro fishing does not work in deep water.
