Ok racing fans, it’s about time the tips and fancies start to be posted! For the champion hurdle I think starluck is a great e/w bet, won well on the flat last race and before that looked like he would beat go native but just ran out of puff ( although I will admit to an early interest in zaynar also).

Go Native just idles in front, hope to God he’s not another Harchibald. Have serious doubts that Starluck gets home around the ‘real’ Cheltenham course, he folded in Triumph (I backed him) after arriving there cruising and his win came on the much less demanding ‘Park’ course.

I’ve only done the form for Tuesday so far and entries aren’t finalised but so far it looks like:

Supreme Novices: Dunguib (vert short but nothing has got him off the bit yet)
          Arkle: Osana
William Hill: Palypso de Creek (25-1 at present but fits the stats and great run behind Our Vic at Haydock)
          Champion: Go Native
          X-Country: Sizing Australia
          Mares: Voler la Vedette *nap

I’ll have internet access this year so if I hear anything juicy at The Plough preview on the Monday night I’ll post it.

Besides the horses over the 4 days i have backed Barry Geraghty at 5/1 to be top jockey, have you seen his book of rides!!!!!

Ruby will have plenty of winners but at 1/2 i would rather have 5/1 on barry……..

Have you seen Dunguib jump he was awful at leopardstown when beating fionnegas ,ok hes got speed and he won bumper easy last year but i think i would rather back JPs horse Get me out of here,i backed this at newbury in the Totesport and watched it weave its way through the field very easily. And Mcoy aboard at 6/1 although ive had 10s….

I can see your point Kev and Jonjo’s is definitely the one for a forecast but the cruising speed of Dunguib is just awesome. He jumps crap and still canters over the rest.
