Tunnel Barn Farm Weekly Report ending 14th March 2010

Weights have been a lot better now that the weather has improved, with 70lb+ being caught on matches and by pleasure anglers. Red maggot, pellet, bread or worm have been the best baits. Red and dark groundbait has also been working well.

Top Pool
F1 carp, chub, perch, roach and bream on all pegs to maggot or pellet, fishing at 8-10m. The odd big carp on island pegs to straight led on bread.

Bottom Pool
Bread in the margins for big common carp. Pellet or maggot fished on the bottom with red groundbait for lots of fish.

House Pool
F1 carp on pellet at 9m. Silverfish to maggot at 6m. Fish on pole waggler against the island for big carp and bream.

House 2/Extension Pool
Pellet has ben the best bait with slop groundbait fished at 10m. Some fish on straight lead to island on bread.

New Pool
Lots of fish in the middle reaches of all pegs, with carp and silverfish to pellet or maggot. Pole feeder to the island has also been catching well.

Canal Pool
Red maggot fished with red groundbait slop for f1 & f2 carp, bream, rudd, perch, tench and the odd barble at 10m.

Club Pool
Pellet has been the best bait, fished with slop groundbait for chub, bream, roach, tench, barble common carp, and f1 &f2 carp at 10m.
