        hi all.
Been saving up all winter and am now ready to purchase another pole. The problem is i have around a 1000 pounds to spend but dont know what to get.Do i get a new one or would i be better off with a better second hand one ? any suggestions what is good value would be most welcomed.

I have purchased 3 second hand poles in the past to give me spares for my main pole. One that I bought was actually in better nick than the pole I was using and excellent value! One was very good an well worth the money. The third was touch and and go whether I should have bought it or not. I certainly ended up paying slightly over the odds for that one.

So my advice – There are some excellent deals out there but make sure that you look at the pole carefully before purchasing a S/H one

Ideally find a tackle tart with a really good pole and tell him that the new Browning is far better than whatever he is currently using. Embarrass him into selling you his perfectly good one at a knock down price so that he can upgrade!
