        Has anyone tried these new kits on the g10 or 995? They retail at £79.99 a bit cheaper than the standard kits, but also appear to be 3 grams lighter. The new gmax1000 uses these kits so i assume they will be top quality.

        If anyone uses them, could you tell me how they compare length wise to the standard kits? Im guessing they dont have a conventional number 1 section, instead an extra long number 2 which you cut back as far as necessary.

          Hi Alex, I got one of the competition lite tops for my g60 and as you say 2 piece. Its definitely lighter than the standard match kits and well balanced. Rated to 12’s elastic its slightly longer than match kit and ready to bush for small elastics. I cut mine back to take orange preston internal bush for 2/3’s elastic and still plenty long enough. The more expensive lite kits will be even lighter.
