When elasticating a poles match kits & Big Bore Kits what is the general feeling on:

Is it best to remove No.1 from Match kits and bush the No.2 section with an internal bush or,

Cut the match kits back to be the same length as the big bore kits.

Pole in question would be either Daiwa TP or Airity.

        Thanks

Just to confirm daiwa match kits including the No.1 are the same length as the big bore power kits?

Which internal bush would you suggest as being best for using max of back Hydro (e.g bush diameter) and how much would need to be cut back from the No.1 section to fit bush.

            Thanks

I would suggest a 3mm preston blue bush as a minimum

Remove the no1’s from the match kits and then use a Garbolino internal bush as these are specifically made for Daiwa top kits(they do 2 sizes one for G10 + one for Tp). Cut the power kits to the same length, unsure which bush will fit them as never used any.
