Right, come on then. Give me the number 1 hook PROVEN for match carp and the number one skimmer hook. Both in terms of pole and feeder fishing. So a spade and eyed pattern please. Crisis in confidence forces change.

fished all winter using Gama pellet in a 16 & 14 for hair rigged bread and corn. for pole i use a Kama 610 in 18 & 16 for skinning corn, or maggot, Gama pellet again for the pellet on pole.

Tubertini 808’s for winter commercials, pr36’s in the spring/summer.

Qm1’s for feeder work unless on maggot which will be a Tubertini 808.

Been using the b911’s but have got it in my head that silver is wrong. Even though I know they are well proven. Just started on the gpoint pellet and have caught a few but Not totally confident yet As the gape seems lightly narrow. BaitS are pellet and corn. Please rember I am not the worlds best angler and am a bit lazy.

Thanks Paul, legend, well done agAin on Sunday. Wish I had your work rate, I just don’t work hard enough at getting the most from a peg. See you soon.

Similar to paulcarpenter, on commercials I use 808’s for skimmers, Tubertini 175’s for winter decent size carp, PR36’s for all hair rigging.

Also, use PR28’s for summer bagging with Paste.

Just started to use Gama Pellets for first time on Sunday at Oaks.
Perfect for very small carp as bit finer than T175’s but more confident with them than 808’s.
Stayed sharp for a long time and lost very few fish.
