        Is there any reason why u cant double up hoolow elastic?
        im fishin a venue weekend with mainly skimmers and ide to 1lb, but theres a good chance of hookin carp to around 5-6lb?

          double 4 or 5 preston slip will be fine for that mate,I fish a water all the time where you catch skimmers and chub upto 1 1/2 lb and the very odd 5-7lb carp and I use double 4. Double 5 would be ideal
