firstpegParticipantThe g10 is a better pole why would you want to swap it for an arity??????

TF_superg10g10 is stiffer longer and probably stronger much better balanced and also dont come apart when shippin out . the arity is slightly lighter.

disco pinkieParticipantairity IMO is much better then the G10 i have had both. i brought the G10 looked good in the shop but after buying found it heavy to fish with the match kit were very bouncy when shipping out and heard about quite a few breakages from people who owned them.i used it for two months and then brought the airity it feels a lot better balanced and not bouncy when shipping.i also feel it is more stronger i use it for both match fishing and carping and have lots of confidence to fish red hydro through it but had no confidence with the G10 with heavy elastics so i brought the carpmatch for carping with. i have just sold both the garbolino poles.
but i would find two different people that own them and have a play with them with elastic fitted as they will both feel different than one in a pole alley.
PS my airity doesn’t fall apart but i know a couple of people that own them and there’s do. -

TF_Staff BullThink its down to your own personal taste Daz, ive never owned an Airity but have owned a Pro but swapped it for a G10, the Pro was an awesome pole but imo the G10 is far better. Granted it feels heavy at 16mtr but its poker straight, ive fished it at 14.5mtr with a side wind with no problem at all. My mate has an Airity and likes it although he has had it come apart a few times, and i have seen him rushing round the lake twice this year casting his lead rod at his top 5 as they get dragged round the lake by a demented Carp lol.

TF_Daz NewellThink i will stick to my G10….the one reason why i never bought a Pro was because ofthe loose section syndrome,i thought they had sorted that out on the Airity….obviously not.

TF_nitroWhat do you all think the g10 is capable of strength wise? I know people who use the preston gis 12 for dragging 4-8lb carp out of trees with basically no problems. I somehow wouldnt fancy doing this with my g10~think

TF_MatchcarpThe G10 is a Flagship pole and not designed for beasting in snag pits – That said I use mine in open water on big carp regularily (10lb+fish)coupled with red hydro and have total confidence in the pole – I have never had a section break on me in almost three years use – The GMAX 1000 is released this month where Garbolino claim to have further improved on the already awesome G10 so you might want to wait a week or two and try that.

TF_toromy mate had the g10 and broke every section he now owns a tourney pro and has not broken a single section he say the g10 is too stiff thats why it breaks.
i have the airity and have never broken a section we had the two together and the airity was top -

TF_makerMust agree, the G10 is poker stiff, but not very well balanced and very heavy at length, as it is so stiff i do think this makes it quite brittle, i done 2 sections on mine, that was enough for me, got rid and went back to daiwa.
