I was thinking the same thing, the magazine had some nice touches to it, quite informative and is far less clinical than the matchfishing magazine, which without going off topic, borderlines a bit boring. It was refreshing to see the pellet wag article not trying to flog gimmicks to death, and appeared to be an honest approach. As does Nick speeds approach. Also anything regarding Des ship is always worth reading and he should feature a lot more as should Harry Billing.

Got a couple of questions about the Pellet Plug though.

Isn’t it a re-named pellet cone?

Andy says he uses part of a plastic tube and that when preparing he puts his full weight on it to squash the pellets in tight, surely the frame would break as it’s only plastic???

Each to their own but I have long been dissapointed at the amount of stick that the AT attracts. I have always enjoyed the paper, it caters for all who love this sport and for £1.80 it’s spot-on.
The new monthly match mag has only enhanced the publication in my eyes and I have no vested interest.
