I used these today for the first time, and although i caught on them i was not confident that the pellet was coming out the feeder properly.
How are people preparing the pellet for them?(mircos)
How hard do you press the pellet in?
Is there a correct way to put the hookbait in. I was using a guru Qm1 size 16.
        Many thanks

I had the same feelings when using the larger of the two. I ended up adding more holes towards the blunt end.

iv never had any problems with em used 3mm betaine green swim stim pellets soak for three mins hook pellet 4mm expander pellet pumped or hard pellet hair rigged. only used a 4 inch hooklength b911 18 hook.think these pellet feeders come in to there own when fishing really tight to a feature or overhanging bush only trouble have to sit on hands lol .~clap ~clap ~clap

Would they have reduced the price if the item was selling like hot cakes?

probably not lol, the world works on a basis of supply and demand and seems like the demand must have dropped

I tried these out in my pond as i was unsure and found the best way is to half fill a tub with pellets fill to the top with water a good shake then drain the water completly

what you end up with is a partially soaked pellet that will still take some water on board
yet sticky and spongy enough to push them home

as the pellets absord more water on the deck they just fall out try it in a bucket and see
