        Hi lads,i am fishing the open tomorrow(Monday) on spey and marsh and i want to know what to target (carp/chub etc)and what target weight i should be looking for?
        Any help would be greatly appreciated thanks.

          Marsh is all stockies now 40lb a good weight pegs in middle best.
          Spey can be very peggy but again lots of stockies with some lumps too 40-50lb will win it.
          On both lakes if you have an empty peg you will catch more fish depends how they peg it.
          Not many Chub in either lake.
          Its an out and out pellet job.

                Hi shark,a big 40 lb won it off marsh,i ended up with 27lb off spey 6,i over fed the stockies trying to force it and i lost them after a couple of hours,it was too windy to fish past 4m so i struggled for the last couple of hours really.

                Thanks again for the info,i might go again this weekend all being well~clap
