              Hi Tony,
I will let you know how we get on , but I am not expecting it to be a great day as we will have at least 17 on and given the great weather we are having at the minute it could well be tough to say the least.

                  No M8,
I don’t get angling times, I have also found out today that we have been put on 1 instead, I also have been told that they have been fished all weekend and that they are not fishing well, it looks like we will have a fun time on Saturday.
If anybody knows any different from the info I have got for Covey 4 I would be grateful to have it.
                  Regards

if you have 17 you will have a tight match as there is only 22 pegs on covey 1

To everyone who has been good enough to give the info I thanks you.
Now the problem, I have been told today that we are not fishing Covey as planned as they have asked us to move due to the numbers for the open as they are expecting 70+ due to the fisho and maver matches.
I now need info from anyone that has fished the willow pool as that is the venue.I know that it is not often match fished but any info at would be be good.

                        Regards

We fished a winer league on Willow and Piper pools over the winter. These 2 pools are joined together. So, you might have both pools. You dont want more than 10 anglers on Piper but its the better of the pools with weights to 50lb and 30lb possible from all pegs this winter! Both lakes are stocked with big F1s to 4lb and carp averaging 3lb but up to 10lb. There are also plenty of large chub averaging 3lb and good skimmers to target. Small silvers can be a problem if your targeting the F1s, carp and chub. Willow fished quite hard with very few carp or F1s showing. There where a few big chub caught but things where hard on Willow. Pellet, paste, corn for the carp and chub on both pools. Maggot and caster for the chub. Im told that there has been match weight over 100lb caught from Willow last summer made up with mainly the big chub.
