hi, do they all make a great difference? e.g. diamond, round, body down/up, slim, pencil type. etc etc.

what do you guys use? which offers most stability when towing and strong winds etc?

        thanks ryan

Hi Ryan. I’m no expert but generally a slim pencil type float for F1’s on pellet and roach with breadpunch, oval/diamond for general commerial fishing and round bodied/wire stem for towing water or windier weather. Also if you base float size on 0.1grm per foot (i.e 0.5grm in 5 foot)then you should be about right. Obviously if it was windy or towing then increase the float size.
              Hope this helps.

              Kev

Conditions should dictate float choice, a Carp doesn’t know if you’re using a Chimp or who Steve Ringer is. Get it half right and get the feeding bang on and you will catch.
