Some of its £7 a bag for groundbait isnt it? Can’t see many ordinary anglers paying that….

Used the fine Nori over Easter on our club lake. Caught on it using the feeder for Bream & skimmers straight away. Turned out to be real iffy day, did no harm but didn’t completely batter everyone else – early days.

Looks quite expensive for something from the far East ! I bet somebody has a nice healthy profit margin somewhere.

Had a short session last week using EFG120 cupped in with a few SDP 3mm hard pellets fishing SDP 2210 soft pellets for the hook.

My mate was using similar baits but a different manufacturer. We noticed my swim came to life a lot quicker and I had to feed less during the session to keep the fish there. We both had a fair amount of fish and as the session went on my mate `pinched` a few hookers. He was convinced he had a better stamp of fish on the Marukyu hookers.

Although not conclusive , one thing is for sure on the day Marukyu baits attracted fish quickly and seemed to hold them in the swim.

We hope to get back out and try this test on a different water soon.
