Yes, It was going full stop, but the admin buttons are a bit up the swanny! That’s why certain posts have remained and Geeps has added on the end, so my apologies for that, as that was my fault.

not being able to access site allday now ,so like to keep up as much as i can on the threads so when one is locked off which isnt often. Makes me wonder why. so upon asking why my thread gets locked???? is that why its called the dark side ??

Perhaps it’s only the threads that I either post or take an interest in that get locked.

The third party being someone who is NOT Gareth and NOT the poster who is the intended recipient of censorship.

Trust me you can go to other forums and they threaten paying members if they do not as they are told then the admins will take their bat and ball home. On that basis Geeps is akin to Terry Waite.

Not really Fordy. I was a member of both forums. I did not like some of the things that were happening on MFS with regard to their actions towards other sites and indeed their own members so I spoke out / I even offered to speak privately about it to them. It is amazing the depths some people will go to in their goal to secure advertising revenue and the negative campaign they waged against other sites.

I have been on the Angling forums since their infancy and IMO the development of cliques and paid membership has had an adverse impact on the behaviour of posters but now sadly and for the first time the admins of one forum.

No axe to grind here and I can look in the mirror and know what I see is honest and has integrity. One group cannot do so and to sink to that level over an internet angling forum is so pathetic it is beyond contempt and does the ordinary anglers who want to use the net for leisure no favours whatsoever.

It is sad but hey I guess that is life.

It has never existed until MFS came into existence. You will have to ask those responsible for that site re their conduct. Apparently they think negative campaigning re all the other angling forums will secure them some advertising money. Pretty desparate and pathetic.

NWCA, i spoke to Gareth this morning and there is no problem between us at all. Do you not realise the damage you can potentially cause Gareth? This site is supported by it’s advertisers, as is Gareth because it’s his business. Go to every angling website and ask what i have done personally to denigrate them? The answer will be nothing. How do you think the businesses that support this site view your baseless ramblings? You threaten people, belittle them for their professional achievements, and question their integrity. Maybe you need to step back and evaluate your life and perspective. I have never met you, and as i said on MFS, try not to judge those whom i have never met. You make that a very difficult principle to adhere to.

Billy you can only play the backstabbing malicious game for a very short time. People are not as stupid as you think. Behaviour like that gets noted. People talk carelessly. I read the Marukyu thread on MFS and I have to admit it did seem like anybody that had anything sceptical to say or didnt tow the party line got shot down…
