        Gents,

I’m having problems getting my knotless knot/banded pellet hooklengths exactly the same size. As you can with a periotti and sensas loop tyer.

I usually do the hook end 1st then wrap the end around the pin and then use the loop tryer. But im not getting exact same lengths.

Any tips or videos to show how to do it?

        cheers

          Hi Youngy,
I used to have the same problem, im my case I had to change the way I tied the loop, I used to use a figuire of 8 knot but always had problems with the length, I now use a double turn loop with a seymo loop tyer and have no problems.

          Hope that helps

Are you using it for Method feeding If so I don’t think that it matters if it is not quite the same length. The ones I make are not always the same length may be a few mms out. I use a Sensas loop tyer to make figure of eight knots as they are much stronger than double over hand knots.
You could buy a Preston Innovations hook box as there are pegs that are supposed to help tie hooklengths the same length.
