Up until Saturday, i hadn’t fished Covey for months as it was really peggy but form what i’ve heard and been told, the weights are starting to creep up now.

I Fished the open on Saturday (around 50 fished) and drew peg 85 on Pool 4. I won my section coming 2nd on the lake and 5th overall with 45lb 9oz. All on pellet down the edge. The lad who won our lake was on peg 84 and had 67lb again, on pellet down the edge and across.

Weights and pegs from Saturday were roughly as follows:

1st – Peg 8 69lb
2nd – Peg 22 68lb
3rd – Peg 84 67lb
4th – Peg ?? 63lb
5th – Peg 85 – 45lb 9oz
6th – Peg 100 – 45lb 1 oz
7th – Peg 52 – 44lb 5oz
8th – Peg 59 – 44lb 1oz
