        I picked up my new seatbox today.

        Got to larford . and the front left leg wouldnt tighten up. After having a look i noticed that a bracket where the tightening screw was meant to be was broken, with a hole in it, and obviously the fastener missing.

        Heres a pic of the rear left leg, not broken…

        Heres a pic of the front left left leg with the broken part.

        The box is a Milo Modula M50.

        Does anyone know if this bracket can be replaced? If so where to buy one?

        If not, any idea how to repair it somehow so that corner doesnt keep dropping, creating an annoying wobble.

          Try Fishermans Friend, I needed to order an obscure part for a Milo Tradis a couple of years ago, sent them a photo of the part concerned and they sent the part by return of post.

            I think i may have found a temporary solution..

            By lowering the box right down, The bracket rests on the legs inner extension knuckle/spindle (whatever you want to call it). This just so happens to be the lowest of all the legs so it sits level at that.

            So all i have to do is use just the inner extensions to level the box.

            Ill just have to keep an eye out for a way of fixing the outer leg fixing nut bracket thingy mi bob!!

              Thanks mate, ill email them the pics.

              Been looking at how the bracket fits and it looks like a real **** to fit. Plenty of rivets to drill away, i may just stick with the temporary solution i have managed to find, to try and create my own repair to the original bracket.

                This happens alot on Milo boxes apparently I have a similiar Milo and touch wood it aint happened. did you buy it like that ? I know what would happen if id bought it like that I would be getting my money back mate !

                  Get my money back? lol it was only £120 with loads of extras!!

                  it works just fine as it is now ive lowered it right down onto the leg adjuster. just hope i dont end up having to put the legs up more than the extenders length lol

                  Any idea how its repaired if its a common thing?

                      Ill just leave it for now, it works well as it is so until i have to change it, ill leave it.
