If you take a look on the big bash forum and search lindholmee, there is a great post about all the lakes. I’m on my phone at the minute so don’t have the link, but ill post it when I get home as I have it bookmarked.

                From my own experience…

                Willows is 4-5 foot deep
                Laurels 5-6 feet
                Bonsai 4-5 feet

Not really fished the other lakes I’m afraid.

Like I say have a look on the big bash forum, its a great, detailed post

Not certain who originally wrote this, but its useful…

                  Lake run down:
Laurels and willows: (approximately 30 pegs)
These lakes are well developed, depths on Laurels are around 6ft, with Willows slightly shallower at around 4ft. They have a healthy stock of multiple species, but your top weight building fish in my opinion is F1’s. They average around 1lb, but there are plenty of bigger crafty fish as well. Best baits for these tend to be pellets, either shallow or on the bottom, but recently meat has also been catching its fair share of fish. If it goes harder, casters and worms will catch plenty of fish, but with so many small fish in these lakes I would avoid these baits unless it goes a lot cooler.

                  Elastics 11h; hooks 18 to 16; lines 0.13mm.
Target weights: 80lb to win, 50lb good weight.
Lake top tip: Don’t fish too light, there are loads of double figure carp that can catch you out.

                  Oasis: (Approximately 30 pegs)
This is the newest lake, but arguably the most heavily stocked. A snake lake around 16m wide, it can produce shallow if its fishing well, but most of the time a steady away match fishing in 2ft of water to the far bank will see you with a better return. Again F1s are your major weight builders, also about a pound, but there are some bigger carp too. Pellets and corn are my favourite baits on this lake, corn in particular picks out a few big fish. Worm and casters will come in again if it cools down, but small fish are again a problem with these baits at the moment.

                  Elastics 11h; hooks 18 to 16; lines 0.12mm
Target weights: 80lb to win: 50lb good weight.
Lake top tip: Don’t pile in the bait on here, too many small in your peg will make you pull your hair out.

                  Bonsai: (approximately 50 pegs)
The best lake in my opinion. Mirror carp around 1.5lb dominate, with some big F1s too. Two types of pegs on this lake, one you can reach island with a pole, the other you will have a feeder chuck to an island. Where you can chuck a feeder, I would suggest a pellet method or small feeder. Ring the changes with hookbaits though because these fish have seen it all before. My back up line on these pegs would be feeding some pellets shallow at around 13m. Island pegs with a pole are also good, find no more than 2ft of water on these pegs, then steady feeding with pellets, meat or corn will be the best methods. Aim for 60 fish on this lake and you will have a great chance of winning the match.

                  Elastics 11h; hooks 18 to 16; lines 0.13mm
Target weights: 100lb to win , 70lb good weight.
Lake top tip: feed a short line on every peg, the big boys can turn up late there.

                  Beeches and Loco: (50 pegs)
I don’t know too much about these lakes. Just make sure you have some rods with you, as waggler and feeder can feature on these lakes. Bring the baits I have talked about on the other lakes, then speak to Neil when you draw, and you can always grab some extra bait from his shop if you have forgotten anything. I do know that carp figure prominently in the winning weights on these lakes, slightly bigger than the other lakes too. I qualified for fish o from beeches, carp on paste to an island was my tactic on this day and I’m sure it will still work, if you can reach an island that is.

                  Elastics; 13h Line; 0.13mm to 0.17mm hooks; 14 to 18.
Target weights: 80lb to win , 50lb good weight.
Lake top tip: No idea on this one! Work hard on your peg, you never know.
