        Is there any truth in the rumour that the lake is to be taken over in May by a Derby club and no day tickets will be issued.

            No not at all mate. The place has been took on by Swadlincote AC but its my understanding that day tickets are still available, 4 quid I think.

              I’ve also heard that its being taken over. Also i was told that day tickets are still available however there will be license checks and also a maximum of 2 rods to be fished at the same time. Hopefully it will deter the majority of the ‘pondlife’ that fish down there currently.
