  How did you lose six in a row? Where they foul hookers?

  one or two felt like foul hookers
  it may of been double maggot on the hook switch to single didnt have a problem
  and i ended up 1ich over depth and instead of a strung out shot i bulked it 12inc from the hook
  i then switched back to double towards the end when the fish were taking it more
  sat there scratching my head for a while though

  You must be gutted to lose that many.
  
  I am in the same situation as you. I get back from Afghan in a few weeks and my first match is the Fisho at Partridge and then Heronbrook.

  hope you get back safe mate and good luck in your two matchs its wierd comming back and getting the pole out and fishing again for the first time (well thats what i found)
  just got stafford moor and boldings now and what ever else comes my way
  well done to andy north of here won it of a unfancied peg herad one off the fellas who fishes it on a regular basis said if you had a bookie on that peg it would of been a 1000/1
  so i take my hat of to him

  Great write up pal by the way.
  Like you, I had a run of 4 foul hookers all which I lost.
  After a bit of head scratching and thinking I was gonna lose the plot I got back on track.
  
  You really do need to get the rigs and feeding bang on otherwise its bound to happen when your on a shedful.
  
  Its true what they said at the drawer though, that you wanted an end peg to stand a chance.
  Just didnt think that Stream would be one of em. (like most people)
  
  Did you fish many lines down the edge?
  Also, did you catch on the 4m line down the track?

  andy went with two line on the far bank mate (normal snake lake rigs and tatics)
  and thing i got carried away with fishing the far bank
  fished one line just of the shelf which was paste feed it for the last 2 hour went over it didnt have a bite
  didnt have a line in the margins and from what i saw from the lake it didnt produce from other anglers down my end
  any way as i said take my hat of to you mate and will have money on you to win it now

  won of a dark horse peg so to pull that off you have my vote and bet mate good luck in the final

  almost forgot caught all mine on maggot less for 3 fish
