I do share your concern for the fish shown in the buckets but then i think that is it any differenet in a purse sack when they are tight together?……the idea of using a digital scale sat on the floor is quite ingenious.
In the weighing of all those fish plus they were ejected from the buckets to a height of 2-3 metres from the bank …..i never seen a dead bream…..a few roach were dead.
This form of match fishing is only 20% of match fishing …..the other percent is the no-keepnet fishing matches…..they kill everything !!……sometimes upto 15-20 kilos of dead roach with their heads at 90 degrees to their body…..its really is old fashioned but you cant change them.
other matches in sweden do use weigh slings but you never see weighing mats at matches.
