        Hi all,

I am fishing the fish’o qualifier at monk lakes on wednesday and have never seen the place before.

Any help with info such as depths, bait, methods, fish size etc would be much appreciated.

        Many thanks,

          Lawrence,

There is 4 lakes in tommorow all with different approaches needed. From what i have heard its lakes 2, 3, 4 and Puma in.

Lake 2 is fishing hard at the moment with end pegs dominating (generally)

Lake 4 plenty of small fish to be caught small tench, carp and silvers.

Not sure about lake 3 or Puma.

No body is saying much, keeping things quiet!

Lake 3 is much the same as lake 2 full of carp, f1s and silverfish, the top end fishes well and the rest will probably fish poor.

Puma is full of shimmers/bream, tench and chub, plus carp to 30lb+. All methods produce so take your pick!

Fished yesterday – first time I have even seen the place.

Came second with 85lb from peg in the middle of the arm of lake 2 , beaten by the end peg.

                Lake 4 fished very hard.

I was told worm & caster would not work , ignored the advice !!
