Leeds Liverpool canal help..

  ok peeps here goes!!
  
  ive got a match on the canal which i havent fished on in years.(thanks to commercials)
  the match is in the Rodley ,carvley area.
  what groundbait mix should i use (if any ) and whats the best approach for this area.
  i believe small fish to be the quarry.. 20 years …nothing changes … lol

  20g pellet wag on a top kit mate, feed 21mm halibut pellets and wait for bites, keep at it, they will come evetually ~clap ~clap ~clap ~clap

  Ridds last time i fished there (15yrs ago lol)it was for small and i mean small roach. I used pinkie over slop (vde super cup) and fed a few squatts too. Really enjoyable fishing to be fair mate.

  Add a hemp swim, a worm swim and a caster swim and you have the basis of a match plan that covers everything. Just dont spend to much time on the worm, caster or hemp lines. I would not attempt to catch on the hemp line until the last 2 hours. 1st 20 minutes on caster looking for a few bonus fish and then 5 minutes each hour to see if there are any bonus fish around. Only stay with caster, worm or hemp if your catching. The rest of the time. Fish for the smaller fish on your pinkie and squatt lines!
