          Hello mate,

If the wind is ok then you need to be tight over to the far bank. Baits that are working are corn, pellet and meat.

If the wind is blowing (which it normally is there) then the bottom of the far shelf is worth a line as is short and down the edge. Although there not catching properly down the edges yet.

If its really blowing a gale then a small inline method to the corners of the islands will catch.

Weight wise around 100-120lb should win it.

              Hi Luke,

On Willow the fish are generally bigger and it dosent respond aswell to pressure as Alder, the ideal number to have on there is 15.

Your looking to draw pegs 2, 14, 15, 22, 24 or 26. peg 16 can be really good if 15 isnt in. You dont want to draw pegs 4, 6, 8 these genarally dont produce during a match beacuse theres not enough water there with it only being 7m wide. The only time these ever produce is when there on 2 or 3 pegs in along that bank.

Bait wise is the same as alder really, just be aware there are some lumps in there. You will very rarely use a rod on there unless you draw the wides and the wetaher is bad (wind).

              Hope this helps mate.

              Mike
