Got my paste floats today, impeccable service, faultless packaging. The floats themselves are immaculate, a perfect design and I cant wait to use them tomorrow. These are my first experience of hand made floats and if they perform as well as they look I will be saying goodbye to the mass produced brands forever.

        Thanks Nick, first class service.

You wont be disappointed Baitchef. I ordered my second lot on Monday 🙂 (Nick – if you read this, as quick as you can please :P)

IMO they really are in a different league compared to ‘mass manufactured’ floats.

I just thought I’d give a bit of an update. I used the floats today for the first time during a practise session and they were brilliant. I caught all day and they were exceptionally stable, sat in the water beautifully and performed effortlessly, they are very robust but at the same time nice and sensative.

I went on to fish the second round of our summer evening series, but unfortunately drew a method peg.lol. I still came third though. I’m going to do a little blog later and go into a bit more detail.

Just to add my twopenneth worth. I bought some of Nicks floats a few weeks ago but due to breaking a couple of toes (Don’t fall over while using a hover mower!) I haven’t had any chance to give them a test drive! Fished a match this Sunday on the strip pond at Lindholme and had a great day catching small barbel and chub against the reeds. Had a few carp (they were more interested in other things to be honest!). A couple of carp dragged me through the reeds but I managed to get them out, I was using nicks dibbers and XT margins. Even though the floats were dragged up the line there was not a scratch on them and fished the whole match with the same floats! Big thanks Nick, won me my first match for a few years!
