fished the speci burr yesterday but it was an afternoon match, but the methods should still work. most peaple started on the pellet wag firing 8mm pellets as far as possible with either pellet or splasher wag while feeding a line with pellet or caster, meat and corn at about 6 mtrs when they went on it they started to catch big skimmers but then the carp moved in dont bother fishing light most people are using at least black hydro and 0.18 line (I got smashed on this a couple of times) meat or pellet on hook seems the best I cought down the edge late but as i said it was an afternoon match and they don’t tend to come in close till 3 or 4 oclock

Fish the method on the 6m line as they are big and you can handle them better on the feeder. Put plenty of bait in as you need to keep them there. With no food they’ll move on.
