  Just bit the bullet & upgraded to the tourny x. Can any one tell me if the Speccy comp top kits will fit?. Otherwise, looks like the speccy will be up for grabs,.

  Mate of mine walked the match at Manor farm leisure last week sat behind 2 lads one fishing tourney pro x next peg angler fishing with g10 both fishing 16 mtrs he said g 10 miles stiffer at that length (mate uses Tri cast pole) enough said.

  Seen more than a few G10s go pop, won’t argue about stiffness…some give in the pole is needed when going after the pigs with fins.

  Mikey j look back on this site mate the g10 has had some serious lumps out, just ask simon fry what he has had out of larford,plus the g10 is a genuine 16mtr pole, not 12″ short, no need for half butts to make it up.

  Im not doubting that you cant get “lumps out on it”. But stronger than a pro x? No chance.
