GMax 1000 top kit lengths

  If you cut them back the same length you’ll need a bigger bush, they’re a wide bore to start with!

  A fair bit. I was looking at a G-max 800 last week, but without actually cutting one back I wouldn’t like to say for certain!
  
  I use a green Drennan Bullnose on my Superlegion power kits (same ones as the G995) and think the newer ones would be a good foot longer, maybe a touch more.

  just use the top kits for one kind of thing… say a certain venue where you know that thats going to be your maximum length.. if that makes sense

  All my Superlegion kits will be going with the pole too, don’t want the kits to be that different in length!

  Cut the kits back to take the Garbo 5.0mm bush and you are there ……….As far as carp elastic kits are concerned obviously ……..

  You got me thinking now – I can’t get to check right now (at work) but I’m sure my kits cut back equate to the same as the G10 with no1 removed however you say G995 – Still don’t think there is much difference, and with the extendable cupping kit does it really matter??

  Yeah you will be fine, the difference will be negligible – Once you start using the matchlite kits you wont want to use the old 995 (well not for long work) kits anyway ~think
