I love this water. It’s 20 foot deep in the middle. Big roach are the main quarry if you can get ’em going, but bream show on the feeder with chopped worm. Dead spells are caused by the pike and Zander that live there. Fair walk, so take your trolley. Nice flat bank when you are there.
          Hope this helps.

Hi Lee, I always fish liquidised bread in a large taped up Nisa open end feeder, .09 hooklength, 16s b622 hook and an 8mm punched peice of bread from the sliced crust of a Warbuttons (green pack) toasty loaf. Use the softest tip on your feeder rod (a glass tip is best) and keep at it for up to half hour for your 1st bite. The bites are very positive when they come. Cast to the middle and clip up. I’ve caught big bags of roach on this method when no one else in the match have caught any . Don’t doubt the bread’s ability to stay on the hook; if you don’t get a bite you will bring it back in with the bread still on, even though you’re fishing in 20ft of water.
              Mick.
