        Hi all,

        Looking for some info on how to approach this stretch, got a match coming up and have never fished it.

          Normal canal tactics mate – Bread punch and Liquidised bread is what i would do.
          It’s rammed full of Gudgeon, with small roach and the odd Dace. There are Chub, but they never seem to come out during matches for some reason. I would also try the worm for some bonus Perch, whilst a differant line on the squatt is a good idea. Be prepared for the Spanish Armada there as well, the will drive you nuts!

            Forgot to mention the dog walkers and the cyclists as well – they and the boats come in equal measures! but dont let that put you off as it is a good stretch of cut in a lovely area.
