Are these poles wortgh anything?

  A mate of mine has two old poles and wants to know if they are worth anything…
  
  They are:
  Tri-Cast MXCP1250 (with a couple of spare kits)
  
  Shakespeare Riquarzlite 13m (looks like a silvers pole)

  Shakey Quartzlite (if that’s what you mean) was a great pole in it’s day.Built on the same mandrel as the Triana Grande Slam 2540.Raised the bar imo.at the time.The Shakey was defo a silvers pole,quite thin walled but deceptively strong.Still see the odd one about,wouldn’t expect it to be worth anything however!

  You will be suprised how much you can get for old poles on e-bay.
  
  I had the old MAP Concept 13m match pole. I paid Â£700 for it over 10 years ago, and didn’t think anyone would buy it. So on e-bay it went, and it sold for over Â£200 to somebody in France.
