head towards the beach and when you come out from under the bridge, go left through the fair and along side the train track.you can fish from the rocks along the prom or continue over the hill drop down onto the beach and there is a small jetty on your left. its only shallow around that area but plenty of peolpe fishing. personnally i would just take some coarse gear the site opposit welcome has four lakes on and the back on on the right hand side is stuffed bream average 3lb and carp average 8lb. hope the weather is better than when i went last year
