Went to the Fisho final on Saturday and couldnt help but notice how many finalists were using Daiwa poles, i might be wrong but i estimated 11 out of 16.
I know the sponsored anglers would in theory be using there respective sponsors product but being a daiwa fan it was nice to see.
Not sure of the other makes used but probably three or so garbolinos and a preston [although Tommy didnt appear to use his much apart from a bit of cupping in] and one other pole not familiar to me[sadly not a maver lol].
Awesome method feeder display from Tommy though!

Not sure what angler or pole it was but saw him checking the joints were tight every put in.

Neil Mckinnon was checking his Airity every time, my mate tells me.

I have the same and checked mine every now and again.
The brand new No.6 section used for the first time did come apart at one stage, so I would say that as with most daiwa poles they do take some bedding in and get better as they wear slightly.

Constantly shipping back and forward on the rollers has always caused this to happen, but as long as you check now and again it never bothers me.

Best pole on the market imo by a long way.

Doubled 8 in a match kit landed me that 6kg fish in no time. !! result !!

i think daiwa poles are notorious for coming apart,,, but said that my gis12 has worked loose a couple of times when tapping and slapping,,
when you think about it,, that circular lifting and dropping motion is bound to work atleast 1 joint loose,, i make a point of checking mine often now!!!

Neil only checked them because i kept nagging him! All poles can have a habit of coming adrift if you ship back over two rollers as it creates so much vibration, so its something you need to keep an eye on.

                                  Hi Jon,
Hows Neil doing? Has it sunk in yet?

What pole are you using at the mo? Do you have any problems with joints coming apart at all?

                                  Cheers, Andy
