TF_kev825Are there any owners/users out there that can give me a heads up – I’m considering getting one but am trying to get as much info up front before making a decision.

TF_GALPSKev825,
Ive had my Airity for just over a year now.
at 13 mtrs its light but as you get to 14-16mtrs it really comes into its own.
I fish regularly at 16mtrs during 6 hour opens and i can honestly say that it is a dream to use, even in side winds.
IMO its the best pole to use if you plan to fish long on a regular basis.
A friend of mine has the previous Tourney Pro and an Airity. He is amazed how much stiffer the Airity is at 16mtrs.

TF_andynorth2003ParticipantHad mine for over two years and its the best thing since sliced bread.
Use match kits (minus No.1) for all my carping with mainly double 8 and black hydro and never broke a kit.
Always use a short four, but thats a confidence thing, as I know lots of others who use long fours without problems.
They do stiffen the pole up slightly, but you are fishing shorter, so its hard to tell really.Big bores cut as far back as possible for anything heavier elastic wise.
I do have several CTK power kits, but to be honest would not use these past 8 metres as they are loads heavier, but super strong !!
Fish mine up to 19m without a problem, when its not too windy.
Well worth the investment, although someone mentioned to me the other day that they might be bringing a new Airity out soon, with a new finish. Anyone qualify this?

I’ve had mine for about 2 1/2 yrs now having had the Tourney Pro before. I can second what everyone else has said, its stiff, strong and better balanced than the Pro at longer lengths. I use mine at the lake without any problems with a short 4, a big bore bore power kit cut right back and half a length of purple hydro. Apart from margin work this will land ‘almost’ anything in the lake, I’ve had carp to high twenties on this set up.

TF_JohnHKev I went to buy an Arity two weeks ago and compared it directly with the new TPro X.
The X has the smooth paint finish which makes shipping a doddle in the wet compared to the old TP.
I bought the X as it was £400 cheaper, was comparable to the Arity, it is a newer model as well. The only downside is a slightly inferior package where the Arity has 4 spare no4 sections which may be usefull if you fish lots of deep swims, I dont.
As a pro user for many years I have to say the new pole is a delight to use and I urge you to check one out before spending your hard earned. -

TF_Mikey .J.I opted for the Pro X over the Airity. Awesome pole, i use red hydro in my match kits fishing for all double figure fish on my local commercial and never had a problem, the pole ouses class and sheer strength. There a slight difference at 16m the Airity is slightly better but at 14.5 there is nothing in it. All round taking strength etc into consideration id pick the Pro X everytime.
